when i read this poem, it made feel sad at some point. but i kinda got the idea that the boy was left behind by his father. and i know that every boy was told that they always have a second dad, which is god. i felt the same way this kid felt in the poem, when i was kicked out of my house by my mother.

yo i like the way you turned the table around.you made it seem like the boy walked away from his dad instead of his dad leaving the boy.
well nice interpretation of the poem but I think that he boy was just lost and he was just trying to find his way around.
